Microsoft Pumps Up bCentral With Launch of Two New Services, Improved Web Site (PR Newswire)
Enhancing its current set of popular Web-based business applications, the Microsoft(R) bCentral(TM) small-business service today launched two new online offerings and unveiled a new bCentral.com interface.

My spin: Microsoft is going all out, and appears to be headed on the right track in launching a new bread of hosted applications for small businesses. bCentral is no cheasy, just-a-bunch-of-yahoo-like-links service. But a full scale PC “on the net” for a small business that wants to quickly start on the road to be an ebusiness! Microsoft, I’ve got to hand it to you – you’re doing a great job!
NetLedger Launches Certified Consultant Program (PR Newswire)NetLedger, Inc., the leader in Web-based solutions that streamline small businesses and help them succeed, today announced the launch of the NetLedger Certified Consultant Program, the first and the only certification program in its category available for accounting and other business professionals.

My spin: If Quickbooks was smart enough to rally a whole team of consultants, who are experts in their software and who can go out and build value added services, I don’t see why NetLedger can’t!

— Two FREE full-featured NetLedger accounts with up to 5 users for each
account, including accounting, payroll, online commerce, employee
access, and CRM

for consultants’ personal use only (Payroll includes tax tables for all

from the certified experts along with a link from the directory to each
consultant’s Web site
