Microsoft Press is now enabling their customers to create their own custom publications based on Microsoft Press books. Visit MS Press and you’ll be able to browse and compile selected chapters into one bound volume – either in printed or electronic form.
Pricing is based on a flat per-chapter charge, which decreases as more chapters are selected. Chapter prices begin at $8 and slide to
approximately $5 per chapter.
Initially, customers will be able to select chapters from 30 works in the categories of Windows 2000, Exchange Server 2000, SQL Server 2000, Office 2000 and XML. Microsoft Press will continue to make more titles available, as determined by customer feedback and demand, said Mastan.
