Intuit shipping updated “QuickBooks for the Web” (Reuters Securities)
Intuit Inc. on Tuesday said it has begun shipping its latest update of QuickBooks for the Web, the Internet-enabled version of its popular small business accounting software.
My spin: In its current version QuickBooks for the Web gets a “C+”. With no integration to the desktop version, this is something I would hesitate to buy!
“At present, Intuit does not provide a way to migrate data from QuickBooks desktop software to QuickBooks for the Web. Var would not say when the company would make that technology available, but said it was “soon to come.”
