My spin: While it’s true that small businesses may not be using the Web to its full potential, it’s also NOT true as this press release states they they’re losing money…

However, many small businesses will lose money as a majority of the Web sites act as brochures rather than allowing customers to purchase their products online, the article says. The report also found that 43 percent of small businesses are not online at all. Factors including the lack of technical support are said to contribute to some small businesses inability to make the Web work for them successfully…”
Having a Web site as a good sales brochure is NOT a BAD idea. Just because you don’t sell online doesn’t mean you can’t make money from your Web site!
