Filanet Expands InterJak 200 Small Office Network Solution With 802.11B, T1/E1, and Ethernet Plus The InterJak‰ 200 continues to meet the growing needs of the remote and small office market with the broadest available range of access and service options
Sunnyvale, Calif., September 18th, 2001 ≠ Filanet Corporation, a leading provider of innovative and integrated platforms and services for small and remote office networking, announced today the availability of three new versions of the InterJak 200: the InterJak 200 V.35, Ethernet Plus and 802.11b. The new access options complement Filanet’s extensive range of broadband access choices and the additional Ethernet ports enable easy set up of DMZs and isolated access to corporate LANs.
The InterJak 200 enables users to quickly and cost effectively set up small offices with a managed, integrated wired and wireless LAN and WAN solution. Users can share an Internet access mode of choice in addition to sharing files and printers and instantly accessing additional devices via USB and IEEE1394 (also known as FireWireô) ports. Service providers deploying the
InterJak to their customers are able to securely deliver services such as VPNs, content filtering, and network monitoring, adding additional services as users require them.
My spin: Nice to be able to bundle wireless, broadband and ethernet connectivity in one interface.
