IBM living very well off of IT services
In a CNet’s report IBM COO Sam Palmisano said that 60 percent of the revenue and 75 percent of profits come from IBM’s software and services division. I guess while PC products are not being snapped up very quickly (or as much as they would have been in the past), IBM’s able to make a very nice living putting together solutions for its customers. I’ve said for a LOONG time now that IBM and DELL should get togther – let Dell sell PC’s and let IBM put solutions together a perfect match.
