Be you big or small – protecting customer data and privacy is important
As Seth Godin says in his Permission Marketing book, once a customer gives you permission to contact them – you can’t buy, sell or rent premission. Qwest would do well to use the customer data is has but have its marketing partners and others pass the data through Qwest – who can then pass the info on to its customers. If the customers want to be added to the Qwest marketing partners list they can request it.
