In the back of my mind, I had doubts about Palm’s prospects for the future. With this announcement…I feel a lot better that this platform will be around at least for a few more years – especially now that Sony is a stake holder in its success.
Leading handheld computer maker Palm Inc. on Tuesday said electronics maker Sony Corp. invested $20 million in Palm’s software division, and now owns about 6 percent of the unit. (full story)
