My spin: If you want a low cost notebook computer – read David Coursey’s ZD Net article from some insight
Today’s column is proof that it’s possible to find happiness with a notebook PC costing less than $1,000. How do I know? I’m writing this column on one and have several more for your consideration.
The machine I’m using right now is a Sotec 3120X, which sells for $909 on the company’s Web site. If you prefer a brand name that doesn’t rhyme with “low tech,” the brand new IBM R40 line starts at $849.
