Washington Post: As Promised, a Good Internet Phone

My spin Vonage was my neighbor at last year’s PC EXPO and I’ve watched them steadily issuing press releases expanding their telecom service around the nation. Not sure if they are expanding too fast though…and will crash and burn soon. OR if they are on track and will be here for the long haul.
News Clip: The dirt-cheap phone call is one of the big but unfulfilled promises of the Internet. Internet phones required too much tinkering or sounded like tin cans on a string.
Vonage DigitalVoice, however, delivers the goods, using a fast Internet connection to channel voice phone service all but indistinguishable from a land line. It works over most cable, DSL or WiFi (but not satellite) connections, regardless of operating system. (full story)
