News Clip: IBM is set to release a database-management application targeting small and mid-size businesses. Called DB2 Express, the tool is a pared-down version of Big Blue’s market-leading DB2 database tool. “I think it’s a powerful move by IBM to get into this space,” says Meta Group analyst Charlie Garry.
