My spin: Verizon has EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT customer service. And, yes, favoring customers to switch service with no charge and keep their numbers is a bit risky for the entire industry. HOWEVER, for telecom carriers that do things right – it’s a huge PLUS and a way for them to get more customers.
