Dell is unveiling plans Thursday to make a major push into consumer electronics, selling flat-panel TVs and MP3 players on its popular Web site and in a remarkable departure for Dell opening an online music-downloading store.
And Frobes reports how it might be a tough road for Dell.
My spin: Nothing new here. Gateway, Dell, HP – they are all doing it. Next up – IBM? Doubtful.
