News Day: Verizon’s Business Going More Wireless

Phone customers are spending more money on their cellular phones rather than their home or business phones, if Verizon Communications Inc.’s latest earnings are any indication.
Verizon’s wireless business added a record 1.4- million new subscribers, bringing its total customer base to 36 million nationwide. Verizon’s wireless customers are spending an average of more than $50 a month for cellular service.
