A more efficient, more ergonomically friendly mouse or keyboard is often a good upgrade from the standard — too often, substandard — input devices that come with most computers. Now manufacturers such as Apple, Logitech and Microsoft are also trying to eliminate some of the wires spewing out of the back of PCs by switching to wireless technology.
