Tom O’Brian, Vice President of Marketing at mobile email services provider Visto explained to me that email is our task list and that we can easily keep track of daily communications. He also said that just as the notebook replaced the desktop, the pda is replacing the notebook in many instances.
Most all larger businesses have enterprise class email servers – many of them using Microsoft Exchange Server with MS Outlook or Lotus Notes. Many smaller-medium sized businesses also use Exchange/Outlook or other email solutions hosted by their ISP. (full article)
