Sprint (NYSE:FON) (NYSE:PCS) today announced that its small business wireless pricing programs and services will be offered at select RadioShack (NYSE:RSH) neighborhood retail stores throughout the U.S. The agreement enables RadioShack to more effectively meet the needs of its small business customers by providing special volume discount plans and business-class customer service that can help businesses thrive in the mobile workplace while keeping wireless costs under control.
Beginning today, the following programs and services are available to business customers at RadioShack:
— Sprint PCS Nationwide Volume Program – Small business customers who activate a minimum of five company-purchased lines can save 10 percent on their monthly, corporate-purchased service plans. And small business employees can receive a 5 percent discount each month on their personal, employee-purchased service plans as a benefit of small business companies signing up with Sprint PCS. This creates a great opportunity for small businesses to keep their employees connected, while providing a valuable company benefit. Sprint will also waive the activation fee on all company-purchased lines of service when they sign up for a one or two year service plan.
— Sprint Business Pricing Availability – Small businesses can maximize the value of their wireless investment by taking advantage of special corporate-purchased business pricing plans that are available to the small business customer. Business pricing plans start at $35 per month and include nationwide long-distance and unlimited nights and weekend minutes.
— Sprint Business Customer Care – A higher level of customer support just for the business customer that ensures all of their service needs are promptly met.
