If your looking for great software to try out before you buy it, or to get for free you can’t beat shareware. You can spend hours going through sites like Download.com by Cnet or Tucows.
Try them out for yourself and see all the software you can get. Listen – if the software author worked hard to make the software and you do use it and like it – pay for it. Some of the software is built on an honor system, others are not and WILL lock you out after 30 days or whatever the agreement says.
