Acronis, maker of storage management solutions, announced a new online education center, but the resource center is not full of much information.
There’s a few articles on their web site about partitioning a hard disk, disaster recovery and some tips and tricks but not much more. In fact the case studies section has only ONE case study.
Vendors who want to build resources for their customers and potential customers should dedicate resources to building a true RESOURCE centers to enable their customers to get a lot of useful information about the products they are selling.
The vendor does not have to go into the publishing business, that’s what we (the media) are for. But the vendor should put more than a few articles together and call that a resource center as Acronis has done.
