InternetTollFree is a toll free phone number directory comprising a printed directory, CDROM and Web site of online companies with 1-800 or any type of toll free phone numbers. Ryan Allen, Managing Director, and one of the owners of InternetTollFree explained that when people want to research they go to Yahoo or Google. When they are ready to buy they go to InternetTollFree.com
In July 2004 STR Media was created by Ryan and 2 partners to acquire the assets of National Internet Toll Free Directory from Pennsylvania based Volt Information Sciences.
Over the last several months STR has spent some time evaluating the
technology platform, customer base and other things to better understand who their newly acquired customers are and what those customers want.
One thing Ryan and his partners did was to purchase additional domain
names such as nationaltollfreedirectory.com, internettollfree.com
Although Yahoo and Google’s aggressive efforts to expand their local
search is competitive to InternetTollFree, Ryan does not look as these
online giants as competitors but as partners.
Experts had thought that Yellow Pages and online could not co-exist.
Although millions of people find products and retailers online, and in
fact shop online the old fashioned Yellow Pages is still a major
marketing tool generating billions of dollars in revenue every year.
In this respect Ryan feels that there is plenty of room for
InternetTollFree to be a leader in the toll free space and connect
businesses with customers who have a credit card in hand and want to buy NOW.
Millions of the InternetTollFree directories are distributed
through hotel chains, trade organizations, libraries, and various
STR Business Media also has relationships with the Time Warner family of magazines and places advertisements in Fortune 500, Money, Fortune Small Business.
Costs to advertise in the InternetTollFree, which includes placement in
the CD, online and the printed directory range from a Courtesy Listing at no charge to $60,000 per year depending on the advertisement placement.
There’s so many avenues that YOUR business can reach customers. If you
have a product that people can buy you might want to consider
InternetTollFree.com. At the very least make sure you get a free listing in the directory.
