Blackberry and AVIS reach SMBs

You know that traditional advertising has reached a peak when advertisers are increasingly forced to think out side of their traditional boundaries.
AVIS and Blackberry maker RIM put together a deal to give a Blackberry, to each AVIS car rental customer as long as they sign a one year data contract. Why? Once business travelers use a Blackberry the bet is many business owners will love it and be hooked and tell their friends.

Warillow and Co. writes For three months, small business customers renting an automobile will receive a free BlackBerry. They will also receive free activation and delivery for the device. While the promotion is open to anyone who rents, small business customers were let in on the deal first. This was in an effort to attract more small business customers ? the company?s largest customer segment.
