Search Fast Local enables a small business customer to have their web site “online” with no web site. I applaud Fast Local’s efforts to add businesses to their online directory but think any business that is happy with simply being in an online directory instead of having their own web site, even if it’s a one page web site, is NOT being smart. What I would suggest would be to even get a business listed on Yahoo and/or Google via search engines optimization and/or pay per click and point to a web site. The web site need not be fancy but decent.
Fast Local’s press release reads Search FAST LOCAL simply takes the current company information from the yellow page and displays it online.
“I set up my business over the phone with Search FAST LOCAL in 5 minutes. It was simple and the cost was less that any advertising I have ever used. I am not sure how they do it,” Stated a Local Search Customer recently.
