Some people swear by LinkedIn, others, like myself, don’t think it’s all its cracked up to be. What’s worked best for me is email discussion lists, that are active. Out of these discussion lists you can “meet” people online, share your advise and receive advise from hundreds – thousands of other professionals.
Like any relationship building, it is so important that you GIVE and TAKE. Don’t only blast information about your company to everyone. Instead SHARE information with the group and be known as one who has expertise in one or more areas.
