You’re all familiar with Samsung, Motorola, Nokia, LG and other mobile hardware vendors. What about HTC? I’ve only recently (past several months) began to be more and more familiar with this Taiwan based company.
Their tag line is – smart mobility. I think they’re doing a pretty good job, I’ve seen several of my “mobile power user friends” using their products.
This week High Tech Computer Corp (HTC) announced the expansion of its product portfolio to include two new computing devices. The Shift and Advantage.
The HTC Shift looks like the ultimate in portability. It comes with Windows Vista and wireless connectivity but is small enough to carry around with you and have a qwerty keyboard. 7-inch widescreen display, and 30-gigabyte hard drive. It’s wireless options are simply amazing – for such a small device – Tri-Band UMTS/HSDPA, Quad-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0
The HTC Advantage is extreme portability and powered by Windows mobile, also with advanced wireless connectivity in a very small form factor. It’s 5″ screen, 8 hours of battery life and other features make this much more than just a “PDA”.
