For those of you who are in the business of selling products (or services) that are very, very low cost – like for $.49 (as in forty-nine cents) it’s quite difficult to many any money, unless you’re selling a LOT of it – like Apple iTunes.
Business Week reports that PayPal is working on an upgraded payment solution to make make it more beneficial for micro-credit transactions.
“The challenge is how do you make a $1 transaction attractive to everyone from an economic standpoint,” Francesco Rovetta, director of the San Jose, California-based company’s mobile unit said at a conference in Austin, Texas. “We are finalizing the development of that business model.”
