HP’s announced that they have a printer that requires no CD to install on your computer.
Normally, “plug-n-play, means you plug the printer in and the computer senses what kind of printer you have and if it’s an older printer, and Windows has the driver already you install the driver. If there is no driver, you need to download it, or use the CD that came with the printer to install the software locally.
HP’s got a new printer that requires two clicks to install and no driver (or software) to install by the user. I’m serious.
Click to agree to the license agreement (May HP’s lawyers could eliminate this step). And click to indicate whether the printer should be setup for USB printer or wireless.
