It’s taken Efax way too long to do this, but I guess better late than never.
Efax has announced that they’ll allow lifetime storage of fax images for their customers, up from two years.
Their announcement reads:
For both individuals and organizations, offsite document storage is critical to reducing business risk and maximizing business uptime. Lost notebooks, crashed hard drives, and deleted files hit you when you least expect—and can least afford—them. Since faxes are among a business’ most important documents, offering lifetime storage is one way we can help provide our customers with an easy solution for critical document safety and accessibility.” – Mike Pugh, vice president, j2 Global.
On the other hand, however, a fax that came 5 years ago, very few will ever need to reference it.
