Small Business Week is the time of the year when the focus of our government, business service providers (such as Cbeyond, Sam’s Club, Visa, Ford, ADP, UPS, Intuit, Google, eBay, AT&T, D&B, Verio and others) focus on small businesses.
They focus on their growth, their success, their future and more.
If you can’t attend Small Business Week (May 23 – 29) in Washington, DC try to see some of the sessions via web cast.
Why should you attend Small Business Week (or other events?). You can learn from experts in your industry, about how to grow your business. You can network with other business owners and grow together. You can meet face to face with businesses who you buy from on a daily basis, such as UPS and others.
Cbeyond for example is presenting at Small Business Week:
Their press release reads: Steve Zimba, Cbeyond’s Vice President of Marketing, will be speaking on the Innovation Forum: Turning Innovation into Jobs at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington D.C. at 2 p.m. EST in the Oriental Ballroom.
The Innovation Forum will highlight how innovation can help small businesses grow, compete and create jobs. On the panel, Zimba will speak specifically on how integrated communications and IT solutions can enable innovation among small businesses, specifically around mobile technology, web marketing and cloud-based solutions. Cbeyond makes these “big business” solutions available to the small business customer at a price they can afford, enabling productivity gains, growth and innovation.
There’s many great events happening over the next few months – New York Entrepreneur Week, NY Small Business Awards, Small Business Summit, BizTechDay, NY Xpo and more….attend one…attend them all!
