New Campaigner Features Simplify Adding Images, Contact Information and Reporting in Small Businesses Email Marketing Campaigns
Thumbnail image for Campaigner-Logo-Final.jpgOttawa, Ontario (August 18, 2010) – Campaigner, a leading email marketing service provider, today introduced new features aimed at making the service even faster and easier for small businesses to use, regardless of their level of marketing expertise. Chief among these is the ability to edit images directly within Campaigner, eliminating the need to use a separate image editing program. Other features include auto-template personalization, allowing customers to include a standard set of information in every email template; the ability to import email addresses from popular email services; and the opportunity to preview emails before sending.

With Intel’s purchase of McAfee, Intel is doing a few things:
* Becoming a competitor of all the other security vendors they might have partnered with in the past
* Solidifying their reach into the security space
* Enabling McAfee to expand its reach into areas beyond computer and network security

Content Marketing 101: Content Is NOT King. Content Distribution Is King.
Having content is great. I’ve written almost 8,000 blog posts on Smallbiztechnology.com, but just having CONTENT does no good if no one is reading it.
There are a LOT of dentists in your local community, but the only one that matters to you is the one you find, use and like. And guess what, for all those dentists, nothing else matters, if people in need of their services do not know about them!
With social media, web sites and blogs (and any other venue for content distribution) all of these media rely on content.

Serious About Social Media? Never Visit Twitter.com (Video interview with Postling)
postling.pngYou can easily tell those who are new with social media. They don’t use third party tools to manage their social media outreach and listening. Instead they go directly to Twitter.com or Facebook.com to make their posts and join in on the conversation.
This is a decent start, but to really maximize your use of social media it’s important to leverage 3rd party tools.
For example, TweetDeck is an application that helps you listen to Twitter conversations and post to more than one social media account. There are many other great tools.
Measuring your social media outreach is also important. Tap11, Klout and dlvr.it are three companies that help you measure your social media outreach.
If you want to maximize your use of social media, do two things: read the rest and see the interview on Smallbiztechnology.com
