Very few smaller businesses take the time to build powerful sales campaigns. We market and we sell but not too many business owners establish a systematic process of selling to get more business – from current customers or new customers.
This systematic process, unfortunately happens much less online. Of course tools such as Infusion Soft make it quite easy to do automated email driven marketing but there’s other ways you can do this with a little bit of programming.
Marketing Sherpa had a great story of how LowFares.com integrated its web site visitors with an email marketing campaign so that visitors to their web site would receive triggered and very personalized emails on information they were looking at online.
Email marketing is very powerful, but the more you can send RELEVANT and VERY targeted and timely emails to prospective customers the more you’ll see sales increase.
