In early February I spoke with Shell Haffner, product manager for Xerox desktop products who briefed me on the release of two new pritners – the Xerox Phaser 6010 color printer and the Xerox Phaser 6500 color printer/WorkCentre 6505 color multifunction.
Shell explained that businesses should be able to save on printing costs but still have great print quality. He showed me two of the same prints, side by side, printed on two different printers.
The print image of the Xerox printer was brighter and crisper than the competition.
He also said all of you still getting by with slow ink jet printers, and afraid that color laser printers are too expensive for you, think again. Laser printers are cost effective, fast and have great print quality.
Epson, Lexmark, HP, Xerox and Brother all make printers -which one is “best” is impossible to say as it really depends on what’s important to you and other variables.
