New Point-of-Sale Video Surveillance Solution from CBORD

The CBORD Group, Inc., provider of food and nutrition management, campus and cashless card systems, and integrated security solutions to healthcare facilities and colleges and universities, announced a new addition to its cashless payment solution–CBORD(R) POS Video Security(TM).
This video surveillance system makes overseeing retail point-of-sale transactions easy. Users can look up transactions in real time, or look up specific transactions after the fact. The system enables managers to search through transactions using different variables, then view receipt details together with a picture or video of the transaction.
“The key advantages of our new system are the ease of use; the ability to look up transactions after the fact; and the capability to query by suspicious transactions, such as “No sale” or “Void” transactions. Our customers have clearly indicated a need for this technology, and we’re excited to bring the right solution to the market,” said Read Winkelman, Vice President of Sales, The CBORD Group.
Agilence’s patented item-level synchronization software pulls data directly from the POS system and marries the data with video in real-time. “In addition to detecting fraudulent activities at the point-of-sale, our technology also allows CBORD to identify operational and training issues before they lead to additional losses,” said Derek Rodner, VP of Product Strategy for Agilence.
