New Optimum Business Benefit Helps Businesses Create And Manage Online Presence

Cablevision Systems Corp. announced today a new offer in the Optimum Business Benefits program. Now, small businesses can take advantage of smart online tools from Network Solutions to easily and affordably create and manage their online presence. The product suite helps businesses manage domains, improve their Web presence and boost Internet marketing efforts. Network Solutions joins Cablevision’s existing alliance partners ADP, CardWorks, Citrix Online, FedEx and US Business Technology.

The Optimum Business Benefits program provides enhanced value for Optimum Business customers that subscribe to both Optimum Voice and Optimum Online, in the form of discounted pricing on products and services.

HyperOffice adds Hosted Email Archiving for SMBs

HyperOffice announced the addition of hosted email archiving to its HyperOffice cloud based messaging and collaboration software.

The new feature brings a completely managed cloud based email archiving alternative for companies which do not have the IT resources to deploy and maintain expensive on-premise email archiving software like Exchange 2010. “Email archiving may have been too expensive for SMBs in earlier years, but it makes solid business sense in light of dramatically reduced price points of hosted email archiving” said Farzin Arsanjani, President of HyperOffice. Since HyperOffice’s business email service already includes Outlook integration, even Outlook emails can be archived and accessed online without MS Exchange.

HyperOffice’s new offering follows the latest market trends. Gartner Group predicted in 2009 that the email archiving market will continue to be one of the fastest-growing markets in IT driven by retention, discovery and compliance needs.

New NFIB Partnership with Rocket Lawyer to Provide Legal Resources for Small Businesses

In an effort to expand the resources available to help small businesses, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has partnered with Rocket Lawyer to offer legal services to NFIB members at an exclusive discounted rate. The comprehensive online resources offered through Rocket Lawyer will help small businesses have greater access to the legal help they need, in a more affordable, accessible way.

Small-business owners use lawyers for everything from estate planning to dealing with workplace issues to contracts and lease agreements. In fact, according to an NFIB Poll conducted by Gallup, 65 percent of small employers sought advice or other assistance from a lawyer over the course of one year. However, retaining and utilizing an attorney can be an expensive prospect for small businesses, especially in an ever-changing regulatory environment.

Responding to this need, NFIB has partnered with Rocket Lawyer to give its members access to the most complete legal service online, including a comprehensive set of legal documents and resources. Online access to these resources allows small businesses to research and easily store all the necessary documents they may need for their business, and even set reminders to meet filing deadlines.

So many small businesses are out of compliance when it comes to their legal documentation – and often they may not know it. With a membership, they can learn their personalized Legal Health Score™, which summarizes the legal compliance of their business, helping to give additional guidance on laws and compliance issues they may be unaware of.
