Over the past few weeks I’ve worked with Lenovo on a program to use a touch screen, 24″, all in one computer, their M90z model and give away one of these in a raffle. The way I did the raffle was subjective and I gave it not to a random person but to the most deserving entry I thought would benefit the most.
The winning entry was a rural school in Arkansas on a very tight budget.
The photos of the children using the computers were refreshing:
When I see these pictures I think of how children benefit from new technology but also think of the many growing businesses that are stuck with old and outdated technology. Saving money is great, but if you are not INVESTING in technology (Rule No. 1 at Sixtechrules.com) you might be losing the benefits of time saved, increasing productivity and enhance customer service.
You won’t know the benefits of technology until you try it, so stop by your local BestBuy and try out technology. Or order some new technology online and try it out.
