There are a lot of great people who are doing their part to help small businesses.
Some of them are authors. Some are speakers. Some produce events. Some are consultants. Some are journalists. Some are companies marketing to small businesses and contributing to the small business ecosystem.
I could go on.
But there’s on thing in common – they are all making a significant impact on the small business community.
Anita Campbell (Small Business Trends) and Ramon Ray (Smallbiztechnology.com) have joined forces to identify who the top 100 Small Business Influeners out of the hundreds (thousands?) in the US and Canada.

Who are the Judges?
We’ve enlisted a panel of judges with deep and wide knowledge in the small business market — everything from franchising to angel investing to technology to marketing. The Judges are familiar with the people, companies, products and services serving the small business market. And we also looked specifically for people who are independent and not tied too closely to any particular organizations or individuals who might be nominated. (Judges will, however, recuse themselves from voting on any nominee in which they have a financial interest.)
