Rocket Lawyer On Call Delivers Affordable Access to Attorneys

New Study Shows Nearly Half of Consumers Neglected to Get Legal Help Because of the High Cost

Rocket LawyerTM, the fastest growing online legal service, introduced Rocket Lawyer On CallTM, a new member benefit that makes it easier and more affordable to get professional legal help from an experienced local attorney.  Available exclusively to Rocket Lawyer Legal Plan members, Rocket Lawyer On Call connects members with a local attorney who will review legal documents at no additional cost to members, while also providing members with a wide array of flat rate legal services and significantly discounted hourly fees.  The new benefit can literally save Rocket Lawyer members thousands of dollars while providing the peace of mind that comes with having a lawyer on call, whenever needed.

“Whether you’re protecting yourself and your family or a small business, everybody needs the counsel of an attorney from time to time.  Too many people don’t get the legal help they need, because lawyers are seen as intimidating and expensive,” said Charley Moore, Esq., founder and executive chairman of Rocket Lawyer.  “Enough is enough – we’re going to change the way people think about lawyers and legal services.  Now, it’s possible for anyone with our affordable legal plans to have a real lawyer on their side.”

BOOK: Dancing With Digital Natives

New Book Reveals How To Stay In Step With With Generation That’s Transforming The Way Business Is Done.

Generational differences have always influenced business, but in the case of digital natives – those immersed in digital technology from birth – professionals are witnessing a tectonic shift. As an always-connected, socially networked generation increasingly dominates business and society, organizations can ignore the implications only at the risk of becoming irrelevant.

In their new book, Dancing With Digital Natives: Staying in Step With the Generation That’s Transforming the Way Business Is Done, editors Michelle Manafy and Heidi Gautschi, along with a stellar assemblage of experts from business and academia, provide vital insights into the characteristics of this transformative generation. The book offers an insightful snapshot of current thought on the digital native culture. Soliciting contributions from many different sectors in order to provide a broad overview of this first generation of digital natives, contributors come from both the business and the academic worlds, and some have a foot in both. Their generations range from Baby Boomers to the natives themselves.

Offering an in-depth look at how digital natives work, shop, play, and learn, Dancing With Digital Natives offers practical advice geared to help managers, marketers, coworkers, and educators maximize their interactions and create environments where everyone wins.

“While there have been some fascinating books that examine the digital native generation,” says Manafy, “they have approached it from an academic perspective. Dancing With Digital Natives examines the real world behavior of this generation and how it is impacting all aspects of business through research, but goes further to provide examples of these characteristics in practice in a variety of settings, impacting everything from work style and work practice to marketing, sales, and entertainment.”

Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 Provides Best Protection, Performance in Virtual Environments

Industry-Leading Endpoint Security Now Available for Large, Medium and Small Organizations

Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) announced the availability of  Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 as well as results from independent tests demonstrating that the product outperforms the competition in both virtual and physical environments, providing unrivaled protection and blazingly fast performance. According to Symantec’s Internet Security Threat Report, attackers unleashed more than 286 million distinct malicious programs in 2010, creating a challenge for traditional signature-based security solutions that can’t keep up with this volume of attacks. Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 and Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition are now available  to combat the sheer volume of sophisticated attacks targeting organizations of all sizes today.

Symantec engaged with a number of well-known third-party testing organizations to benchmark Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 against competing products in the areas of protection and performance.  These tests evaluated products in both virtual environments, particularly highly consolidated virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments, as well as physical environments. Recent testing performed by Dennis Labs demonstrates that Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 running in a VDI environment defended against more real-world threats than comparable solutions from McAfee and Trend Micro. In addition, The Tolly Group measured the performance of these solutions in VDI environments, determining that Symantec completes an on-demand scan in about half the time with 49 percent less disk bandwidth when compared to solutions from McAfee and Trend Micro.  In addition, Symantec Endpoint Protection required 20 percent less disk bandwidth when performing on-access scanning compared to Trend Micro’s agentless DeepSecurity solution. The business card reader looks like a nifty tool. I’d definitely be able to use it especially after going to a networking event and getting around 50 business cards.
