Technology CAN be intimidating, but there are so many ways to get training, there’s no excuse for every professional (executive, manager and support) to learn a little about technology (including social media) every day.
For example, I just worked on a crash course with OPEN Forum about web site conversion. Mari Smith, Matt McGee and John Jantsch also worked on some courses.
My friends at Grovo.com have a great menu of courses that help you learn so much about a variety of online tools and services – check it out.
Your local Chamber of commerce and other organizations give free (and fee) classes in a variety of courses.
Technology vendors give LOTS of free training on their products. Constant Contact has local seminars (and online content), Microsoft has a boat load of events (most for free) and I could go on. Cisco, Symantec, Intuit and dozens of other vendors have in person and online events all the time.
What resources do you use?
