Apple just released its latest iPhone, the iPhone 4S, an upgrade to its Apple iPhone 4.
The iPhone, overall , is a marvelous wonder of mobile technology. You don’t need me to tell you that – its sales speak for itself.
The new iPhone 4s has options for lots of memory (up to 64GB), faster and more powerful camera, voice commands, wireless backup and synchronization between Apple devices with iCloud. Overall the iPhone 4S is an improvement.
However, for small business owners who are confused and wondering, “hmm….should I ditch my current iPhone and buy this new device?”. No.
Their are enough online services such as Google Docs, Office365, Yousendit. Dropbox and many others that can provide you with an array of online synchronization services. This particular upgrade (iPhone 4s) is good but not with enough new features for cash strapped small business owners to rush out and buy.
Having said this, if you DO NOT have a Smartphone or you were planning to buy one in any case – sure buy the iPhone 4S (or another phone that’s better for you, from another vendor).
My no, is to those who are confused and getting ready to rush out and buy the next latest and greatest phone (or any other technology) that vendors launch.
