I know that most everyone knows how to dial a phone. However, I also know that their are many business professionals who ONLY know how to make calls on their smart phone and nothing else.
These business professionals are losing out on so many other things that their phone can do. Your “smart phone” is called a smart phone because it has built in power beyond old phones that didn’t use the apps we’re all familiar with today.
One way to educate yourself is to attend free seminars in your community.
Verizon Wireless just announced that 28,000 people have attend their free workshops since this past April. While these numbers are great, my hope is that EVERY business owner take regular technology training and encourage their staff to do the same.
Check out your local chamber, professional association of technology vendor (Microsoft gives a LOT of free training, for example).
