However, I’ve found that when meeting with someone nothing beats a paper and pen. Instead of looking at a computer screen, paper note taking is much more respectful I think.
Of course you can add some tech to this by using a product such as Live Scribe to record audio with your notes, while you are taking notes.
In any case Michael Katz, of Blue Penguin Development, is the ultimate email marketing guru. He’s recently started helping professionals build their businesses, beyond just email marketing solutions. He brings out his knowledge in this video, where he reviews a “new” technology – the spiral notebook.
My only caution against “the spiral notebook” is that it’s not easy to search. Maybe last week’s search is easy – but what about last year’s? What if you wanted to build a mailing list of your appointments? The spiral notebook is limited. But hey – Michael’s a smart guy and I listen to smart people.
