Accounting Is A Pain But At Least The Software Is Fresh

I hate managing my finances. It’s bad enough that I was never good in math, but to make matters worse, tediously spending my days just reconciling bank accounts is sick. I can hear the folks at Outright screaming at me that their software does it all automatically.

In any case Acclivity recently announced AccountEdge Pro 2012 for Mac and Windows. The latest version of their small business accounting software for the US market features a redesigned command center, mileage tracking, and the ability to create multiple billing rates.

This latest version joins the regularly updated versions of Intuit’s QuickBooks and Sage’s Peachtree – which regularly freshen their accounting products with new features and better interfaces.

Accounting is a pain but take some lessons in small business finance and a training session so you can know how to better use your account program.

While you don’t have to like accounting at least when you do it – you’ll have a better time in doing it.

Is this comparable to Quick books? We are looking at going to a better system than a ledger book.

Apples to Apples I’m not sure how comparable it is – but indeed it competes with QuickBooks for sure. I’d see if you can get a trial version and check it out…
