Ever needed to participate in an online meeting but unable to get to your computer? Now you can with the newly released Mikogo mobile apps. There are two apps available, with the first being available for use on an iPhone or iPad (iOS app) while the second app is for use on Android phones and tablets.

The apps allow the user to join a Mikogo session from their mobile device and view the computer screen of the presenter in real-time.

The apps are designed for participation in meetings or presentations. In other words, you can use the apps to join an already started Mikogo session and view the presenter’s computer screen as a participant. Ideal for participating in web meetings when on the go!

HP is offering the Box cloud content-management and collaboration platform on select small and midsize business and enterprise devices, delivering greater opportunities for business customers who want added value from their critical information.

Customers who purchase select HP Compaq Elite and HP Compaq Pro business desktops will have access to special offers from Box that include increased storage capacity and enterprise sync for enhanced collaboration and content management in the cloud.

Adobe EchoSign: Sign, Track, Send Contracts from Your Phone

Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today announced the immediate availability of the free Adobe® EchoSign® application for iOS devices.  Now, users can easily get access to their EchoSign accounts and sign documents directly from their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. The Adobe EchoSign application is available today for free download on the iTunes App Store.

With the new Adobe EchoSign application, users can:

  • Send a document for legally-binding eSignature and get documents signed in minutes rather than days
  • Get documents signed instantly on an iPad or iPhone when meeting a signer in person
  • Send documents from an EchoSign library, photo album, email attachment or from other applications
  • Track the status of agreements with real-time status updates
  • View signed agreements stored in an EchoSign account

The Adobe EchoSign app offers the same protection as the Adobe EchoSign web service for both the sender and the signer during the signing process, including key authentication and privacy, fraud protection, and consumer disclosure.

A national survey from Microsoft Office 365 and 85 Broads has captured insights on the topic of remote working and technology. Many people have transitioned  from working in offices to working from places like home or coffee shops. One major issue with this is people feel they lose a connection with coworkers. For those without a full staff or an assistant, staying connected is vital to making things happen. The findings show that remote workers want:

  • A regular remote working schedule

o   Women surveyed would prefer to work remotely an average of 3.1 days per week

  • Better balance

o   The majority of respondents cited work/life balance as key reason to choose a flexible working arrangement

  • Tips on effective remote working

o   Response time was listed as the #1 pet peeve of working with a colleague who is outside of the office
