Storify: Compile Your Own Stories From Social Elements

All my social media guru friends know about Storify, in fact I first heard about Storify from @lisabyrne (I think). Storify is one of several dozen types of social media aggregation tools (like Paper.li) that let you create an online story board (or digital newspaper) from other social media sources – you’ve got to try it out.

I thought to introduce you to Storify as they’ve recently updated their features and if you are looking for an easy to way to compile online content, but don’t have your own content to share, Storify can help.

Once you log on to Storify you search it for the elements you want in your story, based on topics or keywords. Maybe you’re a wood cabinet maker and want to start making a weekly  online paper for your customers. You can search for various photos (from Flickr), video (from Youtube) and more and include these in an aggregated story for your customers. Pretty neat.

You simply drag and drop these elements into the Storify editor and share the story with your audience.
