The MobileOffice S410 can scan documents to Evernote and photos to Google Picasa by simply pressing a button. The included document management and Optical Character Recognition software suite allows for easy scanning and management of documents. DocAction single touch scanning and industry standard TWAIN drivers ensure compatibility with thousands of scanning and imaging programs including: document management, healthcare electronic medical records, financial, and thousands of other image enabled applications.

The built in automatic image processing enables the scanning of mixed sized documents with no adjustments. Images are automatically straightened, rotated and adjusted for exposure. The result is more accurate Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Business Card Recognition (BCR) which allows for fewer pages that need to be rescanned.

Sage Announces Results of Small Business Reactions to the State of the Union Address

– Small Business Owners Weigh In On The Presidents State of the Union and What It Means To The SMB Community – 

2/27/2012 9:00:00 AM – Sage is pleased to announce the results of a small business survey regarding business-related proposals outlined in President Obama’s recent State of the Union Address.

The survey was conducted amongst businesses with fewer than 100 employees. After having a month to contemplate the proposals, small business owners chose lowering taxes on small businesses, easing regulations that are impeding access to capital for small businesses and tax breaks for creating jobs in America as the three most effective ideas outlined in the state of the union address that will help their businesses grow.

Additionally, the survey found that business owners believe the top four issues that will impede the growth of small businesses in 2012 will be the cost of doing business, high taxes, too many regulations and lack of demand for their products and services.
