As Kat points out in our video interview, small businesses are really able to latch onto the trend of localization; understanding the local market and local customer. Big business, being further removed, has more of a hurdle in this area, so should rely on small business partners to help bridge the gap. Kat also notes that she is seeing most of the innovation in the social space coming from small businesses and start ups; something that IBM is taking note of and developing programs around.
