Trying To Figure Out The Secret to Facebook? myList Can Help You Crack The Code

So you want to know what Facebook‘s all about? Join the thousands upon thousands of businesses who just can’t crack it open and get some decent followership or use it to their advantage. This is the trouble faced by businesses old and new just getting into the social scene. Once you’ve got followers, the logical question to ask is “what’s next?”

In social media, users often have short attention spans and don’t really look much at where they clicked “Like.” It’s become a problem for businesses struggling with social environments on the Web, and Facebook is probably one of the most prominent of these trouble areas. There’s an app on Facebook that can help you get rid of this barrier between you and your followers by providing them with searchable content within a “list” environment.

myList is a free application that allows you to establish more intimate relationships with your friends and people who follow you and/or your business. When you share something on your list, it appears on the results of searches from other users regardless of whether they’re fans on your Facebook page or not. Even more lovely is the ability for your Facebook fans to see content connected to your business website through a shortened URL link.

myList establishes closer relationships between you and your followers and those who haven’t gotten to know you yet. So, if you don’t have followers on Facebook, it doesn’t really matter. They’ll see what you have to offer if it interests them. Consider this like a social search engine that indexes things you share, rather than solid Web content. It’s a more intuitive process that connects you easily to the rest of the world in the social sphere.

If you want to see a good example of how myList connects your Facebook page to your website, check out P.C. Richard & Son’s Facebook page. If you think that myList is worth it, don’t wait any further!

This tool just creates a card-style navigation for me as a user, not as a Facebook Page, unless there’s something I’m missing. Until it can manage my clients’ page timelines and give their users a horizontal (more logical chronological path than vertical IMO), it seems to be just as simplistic as using Friendsheet.com inside of Facebook as a user (not a Facebook Page admin) and adding the “Share on Facebook” bookmarklet.
