GMs line of cars in 2015 will come with built in WiFi, reports the Wall Street Journal. For some this is a productivity boost and for others it’s a safety hazards.
We have enough distractions on our cell phones, in car apps, and avoiding potholes.
Would the ability to have in car WiFi increase our distractions?
On the other hand, on the go professionals often want to access the Internet through more than their cell phones – this includes tablets, notebook computers and other devices.
Overall, I believe that it’s an ADVANTAGE for GM to have a WiFi option in its vehicles. For professionals who want to MAXIMIZE their productivity, in car WiFi will be yet another way to be more productive.
