SNK has released new 4K match footage of Mai Shiranui in the upcoming fighting game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. The footage showcases Mai’s full move list and gameplay details. Many of Mai’s iconic moves from The King of Fighters series are returning, with some updates through the game’s REV System.

Her fire spin, fan toss, fire elbow, and air drop knee are all back. The air drop knee now allows for combos after a counter hit, and her EX fans are now multiple projectiles. Hana Arashi, Mai’s spinning reversal attack from Real Bout Fatal Fury 2, is making a comeback.

Another classic move, the Sayo Chidori fan strike (also known as Night Plover) from RB2, briefly appears in the footage around the 2:10 mark. The game has seen some significant changes overall. Wild Punishes are now displayed for big counter hits, allowing players to get OTG follow-ups off of sweeps.

The latest demo also showcases new visual improvements, including an updated win screen transition featuring the wolf logo. Mai Shiranui will be part of the starting roster when Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launches on April 24, 2025. Fans can view the new match footage and detailed breakdowns of Mai’s moves.

SNK has announced that the upcoming game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will feature Street Fighter characters Ken and Chun-Li as downloadable content (DLC).
